How to create a listing post from an address or Zillow link
Enter a property address with its city and state, or paste a public listing link into Studio assistant. Ask for a social media post and choose the matching property. Available details carry into the editor, where you can review the facts, add photos and branding, choose a style and download with an eligible account.
01
Start with an address or listing link.
Use the Studio assistant field on the homepage or assistant page. Enter the full street address, including the city and state, or copy the public URL from your property listing. An apartment or unit number helps distinguish properties at the same address.
A request can be as simple as: ‘Create a just listed social media post for [street address, city, state].’ You can also ask: ‘Create a listing post from this Zillow link: [listing URL].’ Replace the bracketed text with your own property. Sign in and confirm your email when prompted to continue.
02
Choose and check the property.
Review the suggested matches and their sources. Select the correct property to continue into the editor with its available information. Do not choose a similar-looking home just because it shares a street name.
Check the address, unit, current price, listing status, bedrooms, bathrooms and floor area against your own listing record. Public sources may be incomplete or out of date. Missing details should stay blank until you can verify and enter them.
03
Use the right photographs.
If photo suggestions are available, check the source and confirm you have permission before importing a photo. A public image is not automatically available for reuse. Upload your own property photography when no suitable photo can be imported.
Choose a cover photo that introduces the property clearly. After choosing the design, inspect its crop so the home’s important features remain visible. The assistant does not guarantee that every listing’s photos can be retrieved.
04
Finish the post in your editor.
The imported information is a starting point you can edit. Choose the supported listing status, select a portrait post or story format, and compare the six design families. Add your agent name, headshot, logo and contact information through the existing branding controls.
Review the final preview after changing a format or style. Check long address lines, photo crops and contact details. Download the reviewed artwork when your account has access, then add your caption and publish through your own social tools.
- Confirm the property match and current listing facts.
- Use photos you are authorized to publish.
- Check your name, brokerage and contact information.
- Review the final image crop and text placement.
- Preview the uploaded post in your social app before publishing.
05
If a listing cannot be imported.
Try the complete address if a public listing link cannot be read. If the available results are still incomplete, enter verified property details and upload your photos directly in the editor. You can continue designing without a successful import.
Studio assistant supports requests using public listing links such as Zillow, Realtor.com and Redfin, but source access varies. Mark My Listing is an independent marketing tool; this workflow does not imply a partnership with those listing websites.
